For many years, physicals have used Hormone Replacement Therapy as a means of treating the symptoms of menopause. It was believed that it does not only control menopause, but it also reduces the chances of having heart disease. Recent studies have however discovered that the use of this treatment can lead to women being prone to breast cancer among other illnesses. It is for this reason that it must be used in very low doses.

In summation of the above, women should put in kind that menopause is a normal passage of life hence it cannot be avoided. One should also know of what to do so as to make sure they do not get it early. This includes avoiding smoking, taking a low- fat diet which will also help prevent heart conditions, exercising on a regular basis among other factors.
