People are often surprised at the amount of recipes available which are often easy to make. Not only that, but these recipes are also healthy. Easy and healthy recipes are something that one is often looking for on a day to day basis. These especially relate to someone who lives a busy lifestyle and doesn't have time to cook an elaborate meal.

If you do a little research, you will find that there are recipes which are both easy and healthy to make. Things like stir fries, one pot meals and pasta don't take a lot of time to make. Vegetables can be bought already prepared, so there is little for you to do. You can also invest in a slow cooker. In this way your meal will be ready when you get back from work.

Instead of using white sauce or cream, you can try using Greek yogurt. This can work very well when you mix it with a lot of other spices. It is a lot easier to make and it means you don't have to stand over the stove stirring the lumps out of your sauce. This will basically take a few minutes to get together, along with a nice salad.

Soups and stews are easy to make and they are especially tasty and rewarding in the winter months. You can prepare these in the morning before you go to work. When you come home, your meal will be ready for you, and there is nothing better than that. You can use things like tomatoes, dry lentils and peas and other beans and vegetables. Some people use sausage and beef.

There are many different types of stir fries to make, so you can be creative and experiment with various recipes. You don't always have to use chicken or beef with a couple of vegetables. You can add in a couple of chickpeas. You can add in nuts. A touch of organic peanut butter will make a lovely sauce.

Just about everyone loves stir fries, and there are so many variations involved. This is about the easiest thing that you can make. You don't even have to serve rice with this. You can serve this with a salad. However, rice does not take a long time to make. You can simply put this in the microwave and it takes not time at all.

Always have supplies ready available. It means you don't have to run to the store at the last minute. When you are tired you don't particularly want to do your grocery shopping after you have been shopping all day. You need to know what you are going to be cooking.

It is also easy to serve a stir fry with noodles. For this, all you need is a little boiling water. It is not like making pasta where you have to test it. It only takes two minutes, and you simply have to mix this in with the rest of your ingredients. It can be a good idea to make a big batch of sauce so you have some left over for the next time you make a meal like this.
